Building Our Collection:
We are actively building our collection of over 2,000 artifacts at the U.S. Military Ashtray Museum by searching out the most unique examples from all eras and service branches. Our primary method of doing so is through acquiring large private collections, purchasing from various auction houses as well as individual purchases from servicemen and their families. If you know of a U.S. Military ashtray for sale, please direct them our way and we gladly pay a finders commission.
Trade & Sales:
To acquire new examples, we consider trades or sales from duplicate artifacts in our collection. In some cases, we consider foreign military ashtrays as well.
Consignments:
If you have an artifact that you would like to place on consignment to achieve the highest possible price, we receive regular inquiries concerning acquisitions as well as having a list of active collectors with their specific interests. We are well suited to quickly find a home for your artifact and do so at a minimal cost.
Donations:
We gratefully accept donations to build our collection. Equally, we accept any historical knowledge you may have concerning your artifact, or any artifacts that you view in the Museum’s collection. We are constantly striving to build not only our collection, but our library of information on the history of U.S. Military ashtrays.
Repairs & Reconditioning:
If you have a damaged artifact, we can repair and recondition it using “era correct” materials and workmanship techniques to bring it back to its original state.
Therefore, if there is an artifact that you would like to buy, sell, trade, place on consignment, donate, have repaired or that you have historical information that you would like to share, please go to “Contact Us”. For there, email photo(s) along with any information on the artifact and we will contact you after we review your submission.
